Why do dogs howl and how do you get them to stop?
All dog’s methods of communication may include barking, whining and howling. To stop dogs howling, first work out the reason he is making all that noise. Then perhaps you can remove the cause and resolve the problem.
If you can find out the reason for the excessive howling you may be able to teach him to stop this behavior.
It may also be worth booking an appointment with your vet for a checkup. Just in case there is a medical reason for the behaviour.
